Flores

Remains of a Protea. It looks like a frozen moment of miniature fireworks.
Echinacea. Such Baroque grace.
I love the early morning dew on this bloom. Life fits together like a magical jigsaw puzzle. The systems at work in the world are remarkable in their ability to sustain, adapt and support. Flowers are just one of the more beautiful expressions of these systems.

Just a day

"Just a day"...That being said I must add that when I really pay attention to the fabric and texture of ANY day, they are all miracles. The blessing of flowers as they push their colors and shapes into consciousness. The wonder of music. The dance of love. It's quite easy to take our days for granted but it pays not to.

MORE THINGS SEEN

Gleanings from the daily peregrinations of the eyeball. A gathering of images like exotic birds inlaid with jewels and swirling over the head of Melquiades the gypsy.

STONE

HOWL
Cyrano
Angelic Indifference
Some wonderfully creepy gargoyles and sculptural pieces. I love the idea of gargoyles hovering overhead and the potentially rich hidden life they lead when no one is looking.
